2025-10-05dev-perl/Cache-Memcached-Fast: fix build failure with LTOZurab Kvachadze
This removes now-unneeded patch that removes '-flto' from CFLAGS, but leaves the job specifier as-is. As of now, Cache-Memcached-Fast builds just fine with LTO enabled. For instance, if '-flto=16' is present in CFLAGS, the patch would only remove the '-flto', leaving '=16' as an argument to a compiler. '=16' not being a valid option, results in a build failure. Subsequently, the only thing that makes sense is to forward expose the LGPL-2.1+ part mandatorially, because we can't make assertions about how people will use this. - Do unconditional removal of annoying tests - Add warning about known test failure with bug #722848 ref, but this path only seems to affect code that tries to use the (new) methods, gat/gat_multi, so existing code is likely unaffected. The result was achieved via the following pipeline: pkgcheck scan -c RestrictTestCheck -R FormatReporter \ --format '{category}/{package}/{package}-{version}.ebuild' | xargs -n32 grep -L RESTRICT | xargs -n32 sed -i -e '/^IUSE=.*test/aRESTRICT="!test? ( test )"' The resulting metadata was compared before and after the change. Few Go ebuilds had to be fixed manually due to implicit RESTRICT=strip added by the eclass.
